Dispatcher Service
New feature to support Services-Oriented Architecture and Simulation On Demand

One Model - Many Roles: — Today's model builders may require the ability to call on simulation capabilities and use the results to make automated business decisions. SIMPROCESS provides this capability through the Dispatcher Service, a Web service that can be deployed in a Web Container or an Application Server using the SIMPROCESS Dispatcher* (Adobe PDF download). To learn more please view the following manual and scenarios for use on page 15.

*Note that the Dispatcher is licensed separately from SIMPROCESS.

Connectors Now Supports Delay's
Along with the standard connectors (no delay), there are additional options that can support delays having a direct value (travel time) or may be calculated from a given distance/rate.
Concurrent Animation
Modified animation to show time-based travel. Previously, all Entities traversed Connectors in zero time (which meant that only one Entity could animate at a time). Now multiple Entities can move concurrently through the model during run-time.
New Expression Statement "SOAPCall"
Enables SIMPROCESS models to invoke methods (operations) on RPC/encoded Web services.
Enhanced XPDL Import
Now supports ActivitySets and multiple top-level processes.
